Value Education Day Celebrations

On the 12th of February, 2016 the value education celebrations were held in the school auditorium. This was followed by an annual report of all the clubs and the prize distribution programme. A large number of children from our class emerged as achievers.

Republic Day Celebrations

Our class was in charge for the Republic Day celebrations this year. The event featured regional dances such as Laavni, Bihu and Bhangra. The event focussed on unity in diversity and witnessed beautiful performances.

The new school band also made their debut performance with the band display. The school choir presented beautiful patriotic songs. 

Annual Day Exhibition: International Year of light

As a part of our annual day celebrations, every class participated in the exhibition which focussed on the importance, application ans usage of light. Our class focussed on Bio-photonics: The Light Of Life.

The Exhibition began on the 14th of December, 2015 with the opening ceremony. A number of schools were invited as guests, who thoroughly enjoyed the wonders of light. The next day, our parents were invited and they were left completely awe-struck. All in all, the event was a great success and would not have been possible without the support of our dear principal.

Swachhta Rally

On 5th November, a general assembly on the theme, “Swachh Bharat” was held in the school ground where the entire school gathered and pledged to keep their surroundings clean. The Assembly ended with the school band playing National Anthem.


After the school assembly, students gathered class wise for a walkathon around the school to create public awareness on the Swachh Bharat Mission started by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Moreover, they also motivated people to participate in anti cracker campaign to keep environment pollution free. Later, a cleanliness drive was held in the school campus.




Hindi Day Celebration



On the 29th of October, the students of class 10-B organised the Hindi Day celebrations. The event featured various competitions such as mono-acting, tongue twisters, a spoof on the "Filmfare Awards" and and a lot more. All the competitions were immensely fun-filled and the mono-acting made the audience burst into laughter. The Filmfare Awards included beautiful musical performances by M. Shraddha and Roop Harnoor Kaur. the event was hosted by Kanan Nehra and Rachel Agnihotri who imitated Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma respectively. The event featured enthralling dance performances and ended on a high note, with Sr. Maria Swati being awarded the Best Mentor.

A Hindi play titled “Samasya Ka Samaadhaan” highlighted the theme of vigilance by advising common man to choose their local leaders with awareness. It left the audience jaw-dropped.

The celebrations also included a fete which the students enjoyed to the fullest. The money raised went to the Mother Veronica Fund, which made the children feel socially responsible.

Independence Day

The Independence Day programme was a memorable show with various enactments, songs, and dances all in patriotic fervour. Mr.Pawan Kumar Bansal was the chief guest and the guest of honour was Prof.Devi Sirohi, chairperson Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the flag and the release of the tricoloured balloons. Students then proceeded inside the auditorium and bowed their heads before the Almighty to seek blessings for the country and its people, there was a short enactment on the topic "CHILD LABOUR" followed by a motivating poem and finally the foot tapping dance on "MILE SUR MERA TUMHARA" which showcased national integrity. The show ended on a philanthropic note when bicycles and sanitary kits were distributed to the under privileged children, this was done in collaboration with Yuvsatta,a city-based NGO.
   
                         


Carmel Feast Day Celebrations

On the 15th of July, Carmel feast day was celebrated and a number of competitions were organised, keeping in mind the spirit of the occasion. A squad-wise competition of Fabric Painting on Squad Flag  was organised for class 10. An enthralling programme was also organised in the auditorium. Like every feast day, the occasion was looked forward to and the students had great fun.
